We have demonstrated the Smartmusic program in class and the company is not requiring a school code this year. For $30.00 you can go to smartmusic.com and register for your own subscription to the program. You can look through the website and see all of the wonderful things available to our kids and having used the program for several years, I can vouch for the effectiveness of this wonderful tool. The assessment is not taken as a personal insult to the playing and the students can easily see their progress as they are able to master the skills necessary to becoming a great musician. We have two computers at school with the program and students will have some access to these computers at school. When they have the program at school, they will have unlimited access to showing Miss McGowan and I the progress they are making in their practice daily.
