This is going to be a great year for 5th graders and band! I look forward to the selection of instruments and creating music with you this coming year. We already got an opportunity to begin thinking about instruments while you were still 4th graders and I hope you remember how we can have a great pizza (great band) if we have all the ingredients mixed properly. The choice of an instrument is like the choice of ingredients for a pizza or any other dish. If we get the right mixture and balance the end product will be enjoyable! All instruments are fun to play and I hope as you make your choice, you will look forward to adding your part to the mixture in the most effective way for success.
